AS&A Leisure launched a trial range of recycled products using HDRP (High Density Recycled Plastic) which included not only seats, benches and bollards, but also children's Multiplay Units. A number of these modules were sold, mainly in and around urban areas and both client and user feedback was obtained. The response has been very positive with no reported vandalism. The use of recycled materials is not new within the play industry and they are regularly used throughout Europe, eliminating the inherent problems of rotting, cracking, splintering and toxic preservatives experienced with timber. Our Ecoplay products compare very favourably with similar specification timber or steel products and are often less expensive.
